DAY 1: Arrival in Mangalore Airport
Upon your arrival in Mangalore Airport, meet our representative, then you will be transferred to hotel in Murudeshwar. Nestled along the azure coastline of Karnataka, the coastal town of Murudeshwar stands as a testament to the state’s diverse and captivating tourist offerings. With its towering temple spires, pristine beaches, and a myriad of historical and natural attractions, Murudeshwar beckons travellers to immerse themselves in a world of cultural opulence and natural splendour. On arrival check in to hotel. After some rest go for local sightseeing of Murudeshwar. Visit Murudeshwar fort, Murudeshwar Fort, located on a hilltop overlooking the town. Explore the ancient ruins, walk along the fort walls, and enjoy breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. Don’t miss capturing memorable photographs at this historical site. Then visit Murudeshwar temple as per availability of time. Overnight stay in Murudeshwar.
DAY 02: MURUDESHWAR – JOG FALLS – GOKARNA (320KM/6HRS):
After breakfast, check out from hotel & transfer to Gokarna. Enroute visit Jog falls. At a distance of 87 km from Murudeshwar, Jog falls is situated in Shimoga district of Karnataka. Locally known as Geruoppe Falls, Gersoppa Falls and Jogada Gundi, it is one of the highest plunge waterfalls in India, and among the best places to visit in Karnataka. This is formed over the Sharavathi River falling from a height of 253 m (830 feet). The Sharavathi River flowing over a very rocky bed about 250 yards wide, 253 m deep and the water comes down in four distinct falls known as Raja, Rani, Rover, and Rocket. The four cascades merge to form the huge waterfall. The Raja Fall pours in one unbroken column sheer to the depth of 830 ft. Halfway down it is encountered by the Rover, another fall, which rushes violently downwards to meet the Raja. The third fall, the Rocket, shoots downwards in a series of jets; while the fourth, the Rani, is a quiet fall over the mountainside. Then drive to Gokarna. On arrival check in to hotel in Gokarna. DAY 03: – GOKARNA LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast go for local sightseeing of Gokarna. The beach tour is perhaps the most exciting thing to do in Gokarna. From north to south, the primary beaches of Gokarna are the Gokarna main beach, Kudle beach, Om beach, Half-moon beach, Paradise beach, and Belekan beach. Visit to the revered Mahabaleshwar Temple which is known for the Atmalingam. Then visit Mirjan Fort. Evening visit local market for shopping. Overnight stay at Gokarna. After breakfast check out from hotel, then drive to Dandeli. Enroute visit Kali tiger reserve, Magod falls. Then drive to hotel in Dandeli. On arrival check in to hotel in Dandeli. DAY 04: GOKARNA – DANDELI (140KM/3HRS) (15-01-2025)
After breakfast check out from hotel, then drive to Dandeli. Enroute visit Kali tiger reserve, Magod falls. Then drive to hotel in Dandeli. On arrival check in to hotel in Dandeli. Overnight stay in Dandeli.
DAY 05: DANDELI SIGHTSEEING
After early breakfast go for local sightseeing in Dandeli. The representative will take you to the stunning Syntheri Rocks. These majestic rocks are over 300 feet high and are located deep in the Dandeli forest. Syntheri Rocks are unique for their geological formation and sheer size. Then visit Shivaji fort, Dandelappa Temple. Visit the enchanting Kavala Caves. These natural caves are located on a hill and are known for their stunning limestone formations and intricate rock carvings. It is known for its natural beauty and historical significance. In the evening, enjoy activities like river rafting or kayaking on the Kali River. The river runs through the heart of Dandeli and is known for its white-water rapids and scenic beauty. Dandeli River activities are thrilling adventures with breath-taking views. Overnight stay in Dandeli.
Day 06: DANDELI – BADAMI (185KM/4HRS):
After breakfast check out from hotel & drive to Badami. Then visit Badami Cave Temple. Badami Caves are carved out of a mighty red sandstone hill which is on the banks of Agasthya Lake. The first cave or Cave 1 is dedicated it Lord Shiva and it represents the Brahmanical style. Built in 550 AD, the cave has an L-shaped open courtyard in front, an open verandah, a pillared hall, and a sanctum excavated into the Center of its rear wall. Visit Agastya Lake (Tirtha), is a huge lake located beneath the cave temples. Constructed in 5th century, the lake is considered holy due to the healing powers of its water. Visit Boothanatha Temple is a magnificent structure situated on the banks of Agasthya Lake past Badami Museum in Badami. Badami Fort is situated on top of a hill on the northern banks of Agasthya Lake, other side of Cave Temples. The fort provides magnificent views of all the monument of Badami, including Caves, Lake, Bhoothanatha temples and other monuments. Visit Mallikarjuna Group of Temple is a set of temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. These temples are located within an enclosed compound just before Boothanatha Temple.Then check in to hotel.Overnight stay in Badami.
Day 07: BADAMI – AIHOLE – HAMPI (180KM/3.5HRS):
After breakfast, check-out from hotel and drive to Hampi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site which was the former capital of the Vijayanagara Empire. Enroute visit Aihole, located approximately 35 kilometres from Badami. Aihole is considered the cradle of Hindu temple architecture and is home to numerous ancient temples. Aihole Temples: Explore the temples of Aihole, such as the Durga Temple, Lad Khan Temple, Ravana Phadi Cave Temple, and the iconic Meguti Jain Temple. These temples exhibit a variety of architectural styles, including Dravidian, Nagara, and Vesara. Then visit Pattadakal. From Aihole, proceed to Pattadakal, situated around 15 kilometres away. Pattadakal is another UNESCO World Heritage Site and is renowned for its group of temples constructed during the Chalukya dynasty. Visit the temples of Pattadakal, which showcase a blend of North Indian and South Indian architectural styles. The Virupaksha Temple, Mallikarjuna Temple, and Papanatha Temple, Sangameshwara Temple are among the notable structures worth exploring. After a day of temple hopping, return to Hampi, which is approximately 140 kilometres away and takes around 3 to 3.5 hours by road. On arrival check in to hotel in Hampi. Overnight stay in Hampi.
Day 08: HAMPI LOCAL
SIGHTSEEING After breakfast, go on full day sightseeing tour of the Hampi town. Tourist places to visit in Hampi are: Virupaksha Temple, Krishna Temple, Lakshmi Narasimha, Badavi Linga, Sister Stones, Underground Temple, Mint House, the two storied Lotus Mahal, the huge Elephant Stables, Hazara Rama Temple, Queen’s Bath and its lotus shaped fountains. After lunch visit the musical pillars at the Vijaya Vittala Temple (Stone Chariot), King’s Balance and Old Pillar Bridge. Overnight stay at Hampi.
DAY 09: HAMPI –
HUBBALI DROP (170KM/3HRS) After breakfast check out from hotel transfer to Hubli Airport for drop.
