Itinerary
Day 01: Guwahati to Bhalukpong transfer via Tezpur (05/04/2026)
Welcome on arrival at Guwahati airport & transfer to Bhalukpong. En route, visit Maha Mrityunjay Temple at Nagaon (if time permits). Later cross the mighty Brahmaputra River through the Koila- Bhomora ridge & Tezpur city bypass. Next stop is Nameri NP & Jia-Bhoreli
River bank (Kameng River in Arunachal). Then move to the state border. Per issued ILP for Indian Guests are required to enter Arunachal Pradesh. On
arrival at Bhalukpong, Check-in at your hotel/Lodge/resort. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Bhalukpong to Dirang transfer & stay (06/04/2026)
After breakfast, check out from your hotel & transfer to Dirang.
Enroute visit Tippi Orchid Sanctuary, Durga Mandir, Nichipu falls & tunnels, Ling Monastery & Nag Mandir. Later transfer to Dirang
through the Bomdila bypass viewpoint. On arrival at Dirang, check in to your hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay in Dirang.
Day 03: Dirang to Tawang transfer & stay (07/04/2026)
After breakfast visit to Dirang Monastery. Then check out from hotel & transfer to Tawang. On the way visit the war cemetery & Baisakhi Army Camp. Continue with the drive till you reach Sela Pass at an
altitude of 4114m / 13494 ft. It is
famous for high altitude lake & scenic beauty & is ideal for ice skating during winter. Later stop by the Jashwantgarh war memorial. Check in to the hotel on arrival at Tawang. Evening free at leisure.
Overnight stay in Tawang.
Day 04: Tawang local sightseeing (08/04/2026)
After breakfast, visit Tawang Monastery, Golden Buddha Statue & Tawang City View point, Tawang War Memorial, 6th Dalai Lama birth
place/Urgeling Monastery & Ropeway (currently not operational, Optional on direct payment basis on own cost). Evening shop at the Tawang old market for some
wooden crafts & locally made handlooms. Overnight stay in Tawang. Day 05: Tawang – Bumla Pass & Sungester Lake – Tawang (As depends on permit by the Indian Army) (09/04/2026)
After breakfast, leave for a day excursion to Bumla, near the Indo-China border.
Keep your lens ready for some exciting
shots. Enroute also visit PT Tso and Madhuri Lake (Sungester Lake). Return back to the hotel. Afternoon visits the local market on your own. Overnight stay at Tawang hotel.
Day 06: Tawang to Rupa transfer & stay (10/04/2026)
After breakfast check out from hotel & transfer to Rupa. Enroute visit to Jung water falls. Then
transfer to Bomdila & visit Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery (Upper Gonpa), Thumb-Chong Gatsel Ling Monastery (Lower Gonpa). Bomdila offers a wonderfully panoramic view of Himalayan landscapes and snow-clad ranges. Later move towards Rupa. Evening you can visit the local market. Overnight stay in Rupa.
Day 07: Rupa to Guwahati airport drop (11/04/2026)
Post breakfast, check out from your hotel & transfer to Guwahati via Shergaon & Bhairabkunda Gate & Saraighat Bridge. Shergaon is an off-beat location with silent nature & further visit to Bhairabkunda, Indo-Bhutam border. Later transfer to Guwahati airport/Station for the drop.
