ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE: BANGALORE AIRPORT
Day 01: Bangalore arrival & stay
Pick up from Bangalore Airport and drive to hotel in Bangalore. Bangalore, the capital of the Karnataka, is fifth largest city in India. Situated at an altitude of approximately 3000 feet above sea level, it is also known as the Garden City of India. The beautiful parks and gardens and tree-lined streets of Bengaluru make travel to the city a pure pleasure. Bangalore is known as The IT Capital of India and The Silicon Valley of India. On arrival check in to the hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay at Bangalore.
Day 02: Bangalore to Hassan transfer & stay
After breakfast check out form hotel & transfer to Hassan. En route visit Shravana Belagola (Bahubali). On arrival check in to hotel in Hassan. Later proceed to Halebeedu (Hoysaleshwara Temple) And Beluru (Channakeshava Temple.). Overnight stay in Hassan.
Day 03: Hassan to Coorg transfer & stay
After breakfast check out form hotel & transfer to Coorg. Coorg, also known as Kodagu, by its anglicised former name of Coorg, is a mountainous district located in south of India, known for its beautiful scenery and hospitable people. Glorious sounds, sights and scents welcome you as you enter Coorg. It occupies an area of 4,102 square kilometres (1,584 sq. mi) in the Western Ghats of southwestern Karnataka. Kodagu is well known in the world for coffee. On arrival check in to hotel in Coorg. Overnight stay in Coorg.
Day 04: Coorg local sightseeing
After breakfast go for local sightseeing in Coorg. First visit Omkareshwar Temple, A Shiva temple built in a mix of Islamic and Gothic styles. Then visit Abbey Falls, a beautiful waterfall nestled amidst coffee plantations, ideal for nature walks and photography. Madikeri Fort, a 17th-century fort offering panoramic views of the town. Dubare Elephant Camp, experience elephant rides and interact with elephants (own expense). Golden Temple (Namdroling Monastery), a serene Tibetan monastery with ornate architecture.At last visit Honnamana Kere Lake, The largest lake in Coorg, perfect for a peaceful stroll. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Coorg.
Day 05: Coorg to Wayanad transfer & stay
After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Wayanad, on arrival check in to the hotel. The name Wayanad is derived from Vayal Nadu which means the land of paddy fields. It is a picturesque plateau situated at a height between 700 meters and 2100 meters above the sea level nested among the mountains of the Western Ghats on the Eastern portion of North Kerala and on the sides of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka States. The culture of Wayanad is mainly tribal oriented. Proceed for local Sightseeing (if time permits) else day at leisure or own activities and overnight stay at Wayanad.
Day 06: Wayanad local sightseeing
After breakfast go for local sightseeing in Wayanad. Visit Pookode Lake, this scenic freshwater lake is surrounded by evergreen forests and mountain slopes, making it a perfect spot to unwind and connect with nature. You can take a leisurely walk around the lake, hire a pedal boat or rowboat, or enjoy a fish spa session. Then visit Edakkal Caves, Soochipara Waterfalls. At the end visit Banasura Sagar Dam. Overnight stay at Wayanad.
Day 07: Wayanad to Mysore transfer & stay
After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Mysore, on arrival check in to the hotel. Mysore (or Mysuru), is second largest city in Karnataka state which covers an area of more than 40 sq.km and is administered by the Mysore City Corporation. Situated 763 meters above sea level surrounded by hill ranges from north to south, it is known as the Garden city and the city of Palaces. It was the capital of the Kingdom of Mysore from 1399-1947. In its centre is opulent Mysore Palace, former seat of the ruling Wodeyar dynasty. The palace blends Hindu, Islamic, Gothic and Rajput styles, and is dramatically lit at night. Mysore is also famous for the centuries-old Devaraja Market, filled with spices, silk and sandalwood. Proceed for local Sightseeing (if time permits) else day at leisure or own activities. Mysore Sightseeing includes Mysore palace, St Philomina’s Church, Brindavan Garden. Overnight stay at Mysore.
Day 08: Bangalore airport drop
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Bangalore airport for drop (as per the departure timing) for your onward journey.
